A leading community organization seeks a casual Housekeeper & Companion to support seniors in Vancouver. The role involves providing light housekeeping services and companionship to enhance the well-being of socially isolated clients. Collingwood Neighbourhood House (CNH) is a not-for-profit Society serving the Renfrew-Collingwood (RC) neighbourhood of East Vancouver. CNH’s mandate is to promote the well-being of the Renfrew-Collingwood community by providing leadership and working collaboratively with individuals, families, agencies and other groups to develop and support inclusive, innovative, sustainable initiatives and services that respond to the community’s social, educational, economic, health, cultural and recreational needs.

JOB OVERVIEW
The light housekeeping and companionship program provides affordable, regularly scheduled cleaning services to seniors in the Renfrew-Collingwood community and offers a friendly visit with each appointment to socially isolated clients to increase connection and offset the adverse effects of loneliness. We are looking for a casual, on-call housekeeper/friendly visitor to help fill the growing demand for light housekeeping and social connections.
