Job description and details:

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the development and management of our Second-Life Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products.
  2. Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality ESS products, from concept to commissioning.
  3. Focus on product development, product feature management, compliance, technical document management, competitor/market analysis, and technical contract support related to warranties and performance guarantees.
  4. Act as a subject matter expert with external consultants, clients, AHJs, and contract manufacturers.
  5. Provide technical guidance on project design.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
  2. Min. 5 years of experience in product engineering or product management roles.
  3. Advanced knowledge of applicable design guides and standards, including CE, CSA, UL, IEC, NEC, NFPA, etc.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  6. Solid understanding of warranty and guarantee management.
  7. Intermediate knowledge of civil/structural and electrical control systems.
  8. Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
