Benefits Specialist - Full Time, Remote (Anywhere in Canada)

Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation LP is Canada’s premier provider of risk mitigation services. We are seeking a skilled Benefits Specialist who will foster a positive and inclusive culture. The Benefits Specialist will ensure employees are informed about their benefits and provide a positive employee experience.

Reporting to the Director, HR, this fully remote position involves managing employee benefits plans, disability leaves, and claims (WSIB/WCB/CNESST).

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits, handle inquiries, records, audits, and open enrolment.
• Manage disability claims, return-to-work, and workplace accommodations.
• Review and improve internal processes and policies.
• Create reports, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as benefits providers and claims agencies.
• Participate in HR programs and projects.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Experience in benefits administration, disability, and claims management.
• Knowledge of employment legislation, especially across multiple provinces.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and enthusiasm for the role.
