Store - TOR-SCARBOROUGH / WEST, ON

Store Managers are expected to spend the majority of their time on managerial work, including leading and managing a team, ensuring excellent customer experience, achieving store results, and planning workload activities and KPIs. Minimal time is spent on non-managerial tasks such as cashiering, setting POGs, and stocking shelves.

Major Activities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring compliance with SOPs, company policies, and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Deliver sales and profit plans, manage KPIs, and achieve performance objectives.
• Lead the execution of customer brand promises.
• Implement and lead shrink and safety programs to meet goals.
• Use company tools to set, prioritize, and communicate goals; manage team and customer interactions.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members; lead performance and disciplinary processes; identify talent for advancement.
• Promote a respectful and positive work environment, embodying the organization’s vision and values.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Maintain operational understanding of all store departments, cross-training in key areas like Custom Framing.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Retail management leadership experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform lifting, bending, reaching, and stretching activities.
• Assistive contact with supervisor required for accommodations.
• Supervising in a public retail store setting; some outdoor work and work hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
• Climate-controlled areas, with some non-climate-controlled stock rooms and a frame shop with glass cutting and heat press equipment.
