Job summary

Fantasyland Hotel in Edmonton, located within West Edmonton Mall, seeks a Guest Services Bellman to create a warm, first impression and assist guests with luggage and inquiries.

You will greet guests professionally, help with luggage, drive/park vehicles when needed, and provide information about the hotel and city. A valid Alberta driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for full shifts on feet.
• Be able to provide excellent customer service and express knowledge of West Edmonton Mall, Fantasyland Hotel, and Edmonton area to immediately assist in Customer inquiries.

• Handling and addressing all customer inquiries, complaints, and suggestions.
• Maintaining and cleaning the entrance and lobby to uphold appearance.
• Acknowledging and approaching all vehicles to immediately assist guests.
• Parking and retrieving vehicles when requested by Fantasyland Hotel Guests in a timely and safe manner.
• Securing all luggage, keys, and property of guests and safely assist guests with delivery of luggage to proper Hotel rooms.
• Providing information regarding Fantasyland Hotel, West Edmonton Mall Inn, West Edmonton Mall's attractions and stores, and the sights and activities of the City of Edmonton.
• Other responsibilities as required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs without difficulty.
• Must be able to stand for full shifts on feet.
• Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
• Must have a class 5 Alberta driving license with a clear abstract.
• Be able to provide excellent customer service and express knowledge of West Edmonton Mall, Fantasyland Hotel, and Edmonton area to immediately assist in Customer inquiries.
• Neat, well-groomed and professional with a positive, friendly attitude.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and night shifts.
• Must be able to provide a 3-year Driver's Abstract.
• Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
