Job summary

Cabot Cape Breton is seeking a Bell Staff member to enhance the guest experience from arrival onward. You will greet guests, assist with transportation, and respond to special requests as a trusted point of contact.

This seasonal role (May through October) involves walking, standing, lifting luggage up to 50 lbs, and occasional golf-cart operation, with opportunities for training and access to employee benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests during arrival and throughout their stay.
  • Escort guests to accommodations and assist with transportation.
  • Provide information on local attractions and dining options.
  • Assist with luggage, golf equipment, and other guest requests while maintaining safety.

Position Overview

As a Bell Staff member at CabotCape Breton, you play a critical role in shaping the guest experience from thevery first moment of arrival. More than luggage assistance, this role is aboutcare, attentiveness, and anticipation—ensuring guests feel welcomed, supported,and genuinely looked after throughout their stay.

You are often the first and lastimpression of the resort. Whether escorting guests to their accommodations,assisting with transportation, or responding to special requests, you will actas a trusted point of contact and a calm, friendly presence. Your awareness,professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond will help createseamless, memorable experiences that reflect Cabot’s commitment to thoughtful,luxury hospitality.

Requirements of the role you should be aware of:
  • Based on the nature of our business andthe service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to acriminal background check as a condition of employment and an additionalcriminal background check every two years.
  • As a seasonal resort business, you cananticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
  • There may be interactions with patrons who are impaired.
  • Long periods of standing waiting for guests to arrive.
  • Regularwork outdoors in all weather conditions .
  • Lifting and carrying golf clubs andluggage up to 50 lbs with occasional weight of 75 lbs
  • Occasional ascending and descending of stairs and ramps.
  • Occasional kneeling, scooping, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, crawling and twisting.
  • Ability to safely operate a golf cart while transporting guests and luggage
