This position works under the general supervision of the Department Leader – Family Services and is responsible for providing behavioural support services to children and families as part of an integrated Early Intervention team. Working collaboratively with FVCDC team members, community partners, and parents/caregivers, the Behaviour Consultant completes behaviour assessments, develops individualized goals and intervention plans, implements evidence-informed behavioural strategies, monitors and documents client progress, and contributes to the overall service plan for each child and family.

FTE: 0.6 (The posted FTE is the anticipated FTE and may be subject to change based on the final FTE approved for the program.)
This position involves travel throughout the Fraser Valley to provide services in homes, childcare settings, community locations and FVCDC offices. Work-related travel time and mileage are reimbursed in accordance with Centre policies. This position is based in Abbotsford/Mission.
