Our FULL TIME Behavior Technician role provides CLINIC and HOME BASED therapy sessions to clients that exhibit severe behaviors . Clients also receive ABA services in community settings as appropriate.

Responsibilities

What we are looking for :

  • Passion for providing therapy services.
  • Experience with people with special needs and interest in behavioral health.
  • Proof of immunizations and TB clearance.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and load / unload materials for home visits, and perform activities like walking, bending, reaching, and squatting.

Work hours

Monday through Friday, with morning and afternoon shifts available. Both part-time and full-time options.

Specific duties

  • Supporting participants with autism and challenging behaviors, including aggression, property destruction, and self-injury.
  • Providing services at a 2 : 1 staff-to-participant ratio in clinics, homes, and community settings.
  • Collecting behavioral data through direct observation.
  • Supporting behavior assessments and skill acquisition plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Teaching socially appropriate behaviors as per treatment plans.
  • Participating in weekly team meetings and providing data-driven input.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree or enrollment in a related bachelor’s program, plus ABA experience.

Experience :

  • At least two years of ABA experience with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Experience with high-intensity challenging behaviors is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is a plus.
