Job summary

Balgonie Early Learning Centre in Balgonie, Saskatchewan is looking for a part-time supervisor to oversee a group of 25 children. The hours of employment will be from 6:30 AM to 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on all school days. Responsibilities include executing program planning and fostering teamwork.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector.
• Must be able to supervise a group of 25 children.
• Must have a positive attitude and be willing to work with a team.
• Work in accordance with the philosophy and policies of our organization.
• Understand program planning and development for children in grades K-6.
• Ability to execute program planning for a group of children of various ages.
• Must be reliable, organized, and punctual.
• Fosters teamwork and open communication.
• Current CPR/First Aid an asset, training available.
• Experience working with children an asset.

Compensation & Hours

• Starting wage: $17.00
• Hours of employment: 6:30am- 8:45am & 3:00pm-6:00pm on all school days according to PVSD calendar.
• Supervisor is paid for 6 hours/day plus an additional 4 hours/month for program planning.
• Additional hours at our main childcare centre will be available on a casual basis.
