Upper Canada Child Care in Woodbridge (St. Veronica CES) is seeking an Accommodation Support Facilitator to join our team on a temporary full-time basis (25 hours/week).

The role supports teachers and enhances the classroom environment, with a 5-hour shift schedule and split shifts in before/after school programs. Applicants should be 18+, have a police vulnerable sector check, CPR-C and First Aid, and immunization as required.

Qualifications

• A recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
• At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
• Health assessment and up-to-date immunization.
• CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification (training provided).
• Basic understanding of special needs and developmental needs of children.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in program delivery and ensure operational compliance.
• Maintain daily logs, reports and administrative tasks.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings and training sessions.
• Support an inclusive environment and collaborate with staff and families.
• Provide information to parents and encourage family engagement.
• Observe pedagogical documentation to guide program development.
• Contribute to Individual Support Plans with Inclusion Support team.
• Perform general housekeeping and classroom duties.
