SUMMARY:

To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maximizes sales and awareness of promotional programs
• Possesses a “selling is fun” attitude
• Promotes sales of beauty products
• Encourages customer participation in the PC Optimum program

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Creates a positive environment for customers and coworkers
• Provides superior customer service, always putting the customer first
• Uses eClienteling to model desired behavior and enhance service
• Promotes products and marketing, encouraging use of the PC Optimum program
• Books appointments for in-store events

OPERATIONS:

• Exhibits and promotes company products and services
• Attends vendor training sessions and workshops
• Adheres to Cosmetics Operating Standards

GENERAL:

• Follows health and safety regulations
• Adheres to store policies and loss prevention procedures
• Acts professionally at all times
• Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Independent thinking
• Selling skills in cosmetics

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven consultative and selling skills
• Knowledge of beauty products and services
• Ability to conduct consultations and demonstrate application techniques
• Strong communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to bend and stretch for stocking shelves
