Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

Manage resources of the Beauty department to maximize sales targets and achieve goals.

The ideal Beauty Manager will:

Drive results, provide leadership, analyze and solve problems, engage staff, build relationships, demonstrate personal leadership, and build trust.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES EXPECTATIONS:

  • Use corporate sales tools and dashboards to set and meet sales goals.
  • Sell to customers and coach staff in selling skills.
  • Develop effective sales techniques to maximize sales.
  • Ensure staff achieve productivity objectives.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing superior service.
  • Monitor and communicate CSI survey results and objectives with team members.
  • Model desired behaviors using eClienteling to enhance customer experience.
  • Book appointments for events and manage annual event schedules.
  • Promote products through marketing and encourage use of the PC Optimum program.
  • Train staff to meet beauty sales standards.

TEAM LEADERSHIP:

  • Mentor, coach, train, and motivate staff.
  • Create a fun and engaging selling environment.
  • Prepare performance appraisals with the Front Store Manager.
  • Demonstrate and promote “Blue Culture Principles” and “C.O.R.E Values”.
  • Foster an environment supporting these principles and values.

OPERATIONS:

  • Use sales tools to track sales continuously.
  • Ensure Cosmetic Operating Standards are maintained.
  • Identify peak hours and schedule shifts accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Independent thinking when addressing customer needs.
  • Ability to act on tasks and goals set by management.
  • Develop a personal development plan annually.
  • Collaborate with the Associate-Owner and Front Store Manager.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven sales record with achievement of sales goals.
  • Cosmetic industry experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Leadership experience with team management.
