Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies is seeking freelance sales associates to deliver a welcoming, inspirational in-store experience through makeup application and skincare consultations.

You will join a high performing team for in-store events and maintain brand visual merchandising, with training and competitive remuneration to support your growth in prestige beauty. Beginners may apply and will receive extensive product training to build skills in fragrance, hair, and additional beauty services.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
• Availability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and events
• Familiarity with in-store events and visual merchandising is a plus

As one of our highly skilled freelance sales associates (that provides either make-up application; skin care advice, hair or fragrance consultations) you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers.

You will also like working as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

While certification in makeup artistry and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable, we also welcome applicants with beginner-level expertise. Qualifications

• While retail experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who are able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise

• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
