Alpha HD Trailers, a manufacturer of custom engineered heavy haul semi-trailers, is seeking Beam Assemblers to join their team in Oelwein, IA area.

• Competitive Compensation: Starting pay from $20/hr or more based on experience, plus overtime opportunities and performance-based merit increases. 3^rd shift receives a 10% shift premium on top of hourly pay.
• 3^rd Shift Schedule: 3^rd shift – Sunday to Thursday from 7:30pm to 6:00am, will train on 1^st shift before moving to 3^rd shift, 10% shift premium compensation

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
• Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using various equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.
• Responsible for manufacturing products according to the specifications and standards of the customers.
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• Lifting and carrying heavy items and moving components by operating an overhead crane.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
• Ability to operate forklifts/material handling
