Position Information Job Title Be Fit for Life Assistant Appointment Type Full Time Temporary Position Dates Aug 19, 2024 – Aug 29, 2025 Hours per week / FTE 35 About the Position The Be Fit for Life assistant will provide support to all operations in the Be Fit for Life Centre on the Lethbridge College campus and in the community. The main duties are as follows : Position Details

  • Developing and providing school and youth programming for ages K – 12 (i.e. wellness, fitness, yoga, mindfulness, strength and conditioning, traditional games).
  • Developing and providing community programming for all age groups, early years to older adults, on and off campus.
  • Loading fitness and recreation class registration and assisting registrants.
  • Supporting group exercise leaders with their classes and delivering group fitness classes.
  • Supporting law enforcement testing and training.
  • Organizing and executing community events.
  • Writing and editing monthly newsletters.
  • Delivering presentations for workplace wellness programs and community.
  • Writing, creating, and posting print and social media advertisements.
  • Facilitating and leading summer camps.
  • Assisting with fostering internal and external partnerships.
  • Collaborating with marketing department for program promotions and marketing campaigns .
  • Other duties as assigned.
