Qualifications

  • Credentialed as a BCBA.

  • Knowledge of ABA principles, behaviour change, and ethical practice.

CBI Home Health, Specialized Community Services, New Brunswick, is growing, and we are looking to add a BCBA to our team. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for working with our ABAs and RBTs to implement applied behaviour analytic interventions for youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental and behavioural challenges.

  • 2,500 sign-on bonus available and up to $5,000 available for relocation

Your Role :
  • Develop, monitor, and supervise behaviour plans for clients, targeting acquisition and behaviour reduction.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create client-centred support plans.
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and analyses as appropriate.
  • Lead team meetings and work collaboratively with caregivers and other professionals.
  • Supervise and mentor Lead Therapists / BCaBAs.
  • Measure behaviour and graph data.
  • Coach staff to provide excellent care in line with the Behaviour Support Plan.
  • Evaluate, model, and coach staff interactions with clients while implementing behaviour support plans.
  • Deliver ongoing training and feedback to RBTs and support staff.
What you will need to be successful :
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • Credentialed as a BCBA.
  • At least two years of experience with youth and adults with Dual Diagnosis and severe problem behaviour.
  • Experience with CALS, AFLS, and/or EFL assessment tools is an asset.
  • Experience with conducting functional analyses and assessments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Positive attitude, organized, and passionate about learning.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles, behaviour change, and ethical practice.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months.
