Job summary

Andrew Peller Limited seeks a Senior Winemaker, BC to lead our BC winemaking team and oversee the Tinhorn Creek program. You will drive wine quality across a diverse BC portfolio, mentor Winemakers, and shape harvest strategy with cross-functional partners in Operations and Supply.

The role requires 10+ years in winemaking, 5+ years of leadership, and a deep understanding of viticulture, wine styles, and regulatory standards. Occasional travel and cross-site collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Oenology or related field with advanced winemaking knowledge.
• 10+ years of progressive winemaking experience, including leadership of teams.
• 5+ years of people management experience leading Winemakers or senior technical roles.
• Strong technical foundation across the full winemaking process from vineyard to bottling.
• Knowledge of viticulture, wine styles, and brand objectives for premium portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead BC Winemaking: direct the BC Winemaking team with clear expectations on quality and priorities.
• Lead the Tinhorn Creek Winemaking Program across grape sourcing, fermentation, maturation, blending, and bottling.
• Shape harvest and production strategy in partnership with operations and supply.
• Develop and mentor BC Winemaking staff and build bench strength for succession.
• Drive budget planning and cost efficiency while maintaining wine quality and brand integrity.
• Be a Brand & Industry Ambassador: collaborate with Marketing and Sales and represent the winery at industry events.
