What is the opportunity?

Responsible for reconciling physician claims while providing excellent service. Use your medical billing knowledge to assist physicians in getting their claims paid through claims management, reconciliation with MSP, and direct communication.

About Dr. Bill : Dr. Bill is an RBC Ventures company working to simplify medical billing for Canadian physicians. You’ll join as an RBC employee, enjoying the perks of a large company with a start-up mindset and agility.

What will you do?
  • Reconcile medical claims after remittance (MSP, WSBC, ICBC, Blue Cross, UHIP)
  • Stay up to date with ICD-09 billing codes and rules to provide current information and advice
  • Assist physicians and clinics with connecting their accounts to Dr. Bill
  • Provide telephone support through scheduled calls
  • Upload and manually enter claims submitted by physicians
  • Collaborate with other teams to support user needs
What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • At least 1 year of medical billing experience, including claims reconciliation
  • Client-first mindset with effective issue resolution skills
  • Strong technical skills, familiarity with medical billing software (EMRs), Microsoft and Google Docs, and knowledge of the MSC Payment Schedule of Benefits

Nice to have

  • Experience with Slack, Intercom, Confluence, Jira
  • Medical Billing / MOA certificate
