Job summary

Vitacore Industries Inc. is seeking a dependable Processing Plant Operator for our Ontario operations team. The role involves fast-paced, hands-on battery processing and general labour, with emphasis on sorting batteries, maintaining accuracy, and ensuring safety throughout the shift.

The position requires standing for long periods, repetitive manual work, and lifting up to 70 lbs. You will work with conveyors, drums, and Gaylords, coordinating with supervisors and forklift operators to keep

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, warehousing, processing, or other industrial environments.
• Able to stand for long shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to learn battery classifications quickly and maintain high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process high-volume batteries on sorting lines.
• Identify battery type, manufacturer, chemistry, and sorting requirements.
• Move materials between workstations and assist with general warehouse tasks.
• Maintain safe operations, report damaged batteries or safety concerns.
