Job Description:

The plant maintains a 24 hours 7 days per week continental shift environment. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7:00pm to 7:30am (nights). we maintain 2-3 rotation; in fourteen calendar days, you will work a total of seven days. Every other weekend is a long weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measuring, weighing materials and ingredients from recipe card
  • Recording of lot number
  • Measuring weights – Tagging and staging for blending equipment
  • Operation (bin numbers, blenders, PLC controlled agitation and transfer, blanchers and soakers
  • Must ensure consistent and accurate measurement and blending to ensure continuous product supply to filling equipment
  • Sanitation, sanitary maintenance, troubleshooting
  • Quick thinking and responsive to surroundings, requirements, and domains

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years manufacturing related experience
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
  • Fluency in English both oral and written
