Job summary

Brodie Rec is seeking a part-time scorekeeper in Winnipeg, MB to manage scoreboards, shot clocks, and live streaming for game nights. You will ensure accuracy, engage with players and fans, and help deliver a professional, NBA‑level gameday experience.

Role requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to operate multiple devices and the BallerTV platform. Shift hours include evenings and weekends. This is a self‑employed position with tax responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Sharp attention to detail and ability to track multiple game elements simultaneously.
• Calm under pressure and able to manage disputes, equipment issues, and fast-paced gameplay.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with athletes and fans.
• Technologically comfortable with scoreboard systems, iPads, and the BallerTV app.

Responsibilities

• Track the live game score on the scoreboard and the BallerTV live stream.
• Reset the shot clock accurately on all plays (24s and 14s).
• Record team fouls, timeouts, and possession arrow.
• Communicate with referees to confirm score accuracy and manage stoppages.
• Set up, operate, and monitor BallerTV equipment for each game.
• Update scores live on the iPad and monitor stream status.
