Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this position requires individuals who are organized and self-starters. Duties include performing aircraft maintenance and organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility. The position involves shift work including days, evenings, weekends, and an on-call rotation.

Canadian Helicopters is currently seeking Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintainers (AME’s and Apprentices) for fixed base work in Southport, Manitoba.

Potential to migrate to the FAcT contract.

Potential to work on brand new, state-of-the-art Airbus H135 aircraft in the future.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
  • Have successfully completed a basic maintenance course from a Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) acceptable training organization or within DND.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security level of Enhanced Reliability.
  • Experience on Bell 412 and 206 is an asset.
  • Consideration will be given to applicants with a Canadian Military aircraft maintenance qualification.
