Job description

As a BAS Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to join our Field Service team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. You will develop and implement strategies to optimize field service operations, driving customer satisfaction and business growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will report directly to our Sr. Field Service Supervisor and work on customer sites based out of our Markham, Ontario office.

In this role, you will impact the success of our field service operations, customer satisfaction, and the growth of the organization. You will work with critical building management, HVAC, and security systems across various industries, including commercial and government buildings, healthcare facilities, airports, and correctional facilities. You will help our customers leverage technology to improve productivity and increase the value of services provided.

The primary focus is to provide ongoing service support for Honeywell's Commercial Controls Building Automation HVAC systems.

This requisition offers a Sign-on bonus of up to $3000. Join our Customer Experience team in BA at Honeywell and play a key role in delivering top-tier service for Building Automation HVAC systems.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintaining and commissioning building automation systems / HVAC controls and energy management strategies.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with HVAC system operations, including chillers, boilers, VAV systems, multi-zone systems, rooftop units, and air handling units.
  • 3+ years of experience with Basic Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Degree or diploma in a related field.
  • A valid G license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of Honeywell Building Management Systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and process issues.
  • Sensor verification and calibration.
  • Publish critical reports, including Monthly Performance and Results Reports.
  • Interface with customers at all levels, ensuring satisfaction through effective communication.
  • Provide 24/7 emergency on-call support on a rotation basis.
  • Manage and deliver small projects with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and pricing for new opportunities.
  • Support sales and estimation teams with technical expertise.
  • Guide and support junior technicians.
