A Bartender at Fairmont Banff Springs is responsible for the development and creation of all specialty drinks. Our Bartenders take pride in each drink that leaves their bar; with a critical eye for detail, extensive beverage knowledge, and a flare for showmanship, the bartender provides a libation experience, unparalleled.
Starting Rate:$18.22 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $20.27
Reporting to the F&B Leadership Team. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Provide professional, engaging, and personalized service while creating memorable guest experiences at the bar and in the outlet.
Prepare classic and outlet-specific cocktails with precision, creativity, and presentation flair, maintaining extensive product and menu knowledge.
Complete all opening, closing, and maintenance duties including cleaning, stocking, polishing, and ensuring bar readiness.
Handle daily orders, track inventory, record wastage/spillage, and participate in monthly inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
Collaborate with colleagues, assist with floor service when needed, and engage with guests regarding preferences, allergies, and special occasions.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
