Position Overview

Cineplex Entertainment is recruiting for the position of Bartender – The Rec Room South Edmonton Common, reporting to the General Manager. This role is based at our The Rec Room South Edmonton Common, located at 1725 99 Street NW, Edmonton.

About The Rec Room

The Rec Room offers a wide range of entertainment options including simulation games, redemption gaming, recreational games like bowling and billiards, live entertainment, a high-definition theatre, upscale casual dining, and a large central bar. It features cutting-edge interactive technology to enhance the entertainment experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Serve drinks and collect payments using POS systems.
• Check guest IDs and monitor alcohol consumption for safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and glassware.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies and ingredients.
• Arrange bottles and barware attractively.
• Handle customer service with friendliness and professionalism.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning.
• Address situations requiring refusal of service and ensure guest safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years bartending experience preferred.
• Smart Serve Certification is an asset.
