State & Main Kitchen + Bar in Winnipeg is looking for a Bartender who can craft a wide range of drinks, deliver friendly, engaging service, and help create memorable experiences for guests in a fast-paced setting.

You will work with the front-of-house team, maintain a clean bar, stay on top of the menu and daily specials, handle payments, and contribute to a fun, collaborative culture that values hospitality.

What You’ll Do

• Craft a variety of drinks with speed and precision, ensuring each one meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner, creating a welcoming and memorable experience.
• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional service, keeping communication open during busy shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring it's fully stocked and operational throughout your shift.
• Stay up-to-date with our beverage menu and any daily specials, recommending drinks that align with guest preferences.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol, ensuring responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
• Handle guest payments and manage the cash drawer accurately, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
• Assist in creating new drink specials or cocktail ideas in collaboration with the bar team and management.

What You Bring

• 1+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred.
• Strong communication skills and confidence when engaging with guests.
• A guest-focused mindset and passion for creating exceptional experiences.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm under pressure with quick problem-solving skills.
• A love for mixology and crafting outstanding drinks.
