Job Description

What will you be doing:

• Showcase your personality and skills by engaging with guests to create a memorable dining experience.
• Welcome guests in our chic lounge Liberté, explain the menu, and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and beverages according to Sofitel and AAA 4 Diamond standards, maintaining current knowledge of all menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Set up and break down the Liberté Lounge during your shift.

Qualifications

Your skills and qualifications:

• Personable, articulate, with at least 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale, high-end restaurant or 4-diamond hotel, and 1 year of serving experience.
• Knowledge of silverware and experience with comparable restaurant software systems is a plus.
• Experience in opening and closing shifts, table service, wine service, food and wine pairing, high-end liquors, aperitifs, and high-end bar menus.
• Pleasant, well-spoken, gracious, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
