Job description

The Courtyard Marriott, located in the heart of Montreal near the Palais des congrès, offers a vibrant setting with 212 spacious rooms, conference facilities, an indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, restaurant, lounge bar, and Coffee counter. We are seeking a skilled bartender, reporting to the restaurant manager and assistant, who is passionate about mixology and stays updated on the latest beverage trends.

Main Tasks
  1. Greet guests warmly and provide prompt service.
  2. Serve drinks at the bar and at tables, making recommendations and answering questions.
  3. Share your menu knowledge and accommodate special requests.
  4. Open and serve wine and champagne.
  5. Prepare garnishes, stock ice, glasses, and paper products.
  6. Set up and maintain the bar's cleanliness and organization.
  7. Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
  8. Clear tables and ensure the bar and dining area are tidy.
  9. Collaborate to uphold the hotel's professional image and cleanliness standards.
  10. Be attentive to guests' food allergies and intolerances, ensuring proper communication with the kitchen.
  11. Follow hotel procedures and standards.
  12. Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time or part-time, permanent position.
  • Day, evening, and weekend shifts.
