What will be your daily pursuit?: Servers and Buffet Attendants provide upbeat, professional service that goes above and beyond our guests’ expectations. You will come across thousands of guests a day from all over the world, so being up to date on all Pursuit products, discounts and promotions is key. Attention to detail and effective communication skills are a must, but a passion for making a difference for each guest is the most important aspect of this position.

What will your compensation be?: The starting salary for this position is $16.50.

What will you do in this job?:

1. Coordinating guests and tour groups in the dining area
2. Maintaining cleanliness of guest areas
3. Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
4. Provide table service, function service, hosting, food running, bartending, etc.
5. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
6. Provide guests with exceptional service at all times
7. Stocking and maintaining product levels
8. Ensuring correct cash and float security during operating hours
9. Attend and serve during buffet time (lunch), this includes: Bussing tables, rest tables and assist kitchen with restocking buffet line
10. Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion
11. Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
12. Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

1. Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
2. Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated
3. Basic knowledge on the distilling process of each main spirit group (i.e. vodka, rum, gin, whiskeys etc.)
4. Thrives in a fast paced, high energy work environment.
5. Always properly groomed
6. At least 1+ year bar experience with a minimum of 6 months working in a busy restaurant environment
7. Customer service oriented
8. A positive attitude and be a ‘go getter’
9. Able to lift at least 15 pounds
10. Able to stand for long periods of time
11. Proserve qualifications
12. Flexible with work schedule (morning & evening shifts)
13. All employees must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance and professional appearance
14. Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards
