Murphy Hospitality Group, including Gahan House Riverside, is seeking a bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively craft-beer environment. You will expand knowledge of beers and cocktails while engaging with guests and the restaurant team to ensure memorable visits.

The role emphasizes strong service, teamwork, and a positive, upbeat approach to bring the Gahan Experience to life and to support safe, fun dining moments for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Strong beer knowledge preferred.
• Excellent customer service and guest relations.
• Willingness to learn about craft beer, wine, and local ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Advise guests on drinks, cocktails, and beer selections.
• Take accurate orders and ensure prompt service.
• Prepare mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Relay menu items to provide optimal guest service.
• Enforce provincial liquor laws and regulations.
• Maintain clean draft beer system, bar area, and glassware.
• May work as a server occasionally.
• Deliver seamless guest service with a positive attitude.

As a Bartender, You Will

• Advise guests regarding contents of drinks, cocktails and beer - share your knowledge on our products
• Take orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
• Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages
• Relay menu items and products to provide optimum guest service
• Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations
• Clean draft beer system, bar area and glassware
• Work occasional server shifts
• Provide seamless guest service while ensuring they have a memorable experience by providing timely service with an upbeat and positive personality
• Work along side of the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
