Job summary

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is seeking a Bartender to deliver an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations, and marinas. You will prepare beverages, manage bar stock, and support events, while maintaining a clean, compliant bar area and operating the POS system.

Applicants should have experience serving drinks, cash handling skills, and a Provincial RSA certification.

Qualifications

• Combination of education, training, and experience acceptable.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario.
• Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification required.
• Experience serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages to customers in military messes, golf, curling, and marinas.
• Maintain inventory of bar stock and order supplies.
• Assist in set-up and takedown of social and military functions.
• Operate a Point of Sale system and ensure a clean bar area.
• Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

THE ROLE

As a Bartender, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations and marinas. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.

The Bartender will provide a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, maintaining inventory of bar stock and ordering supplies and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system, provide a clean bar area and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

Qualifications Needed

Education, Certifications and Licenses

• An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience)
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario
• Must possess a Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
