Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and serve beverages to guests in a fast-paced setting. You will apply knowledge of drinks, trends, and guest service to elevate dining experiences.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing payments, following alcohol service policies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety while contributing to a collaborative team at Aramark.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending principles, recipes, and current trends.
• Able to obtain alcohol service certifications.
• Phenomenal hospitality and beverage knowledge.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Requires occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
• Ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• May include providing servers drinks from the service well
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification to ensure minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Adheres to cash handling policies
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests' needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets
