Job description

What will be your daily pursuit?: Servers and Buffet Attendants provide upbeat, professional service that exceeds guests' expectations. You will interact with thousands of guests daily from around the world, so staying updated on all Pursuit products, discounts, and promotions is essential. Attention to detail and effective communication skills are required, but a passion for making a difference for each guest is most important.

What will your compensation be?: The starting salary for this position is $16.50.

When does this adventure begin?: This job is part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer 2025.

What will you do in this job?:

  1. Coordinate guests and tour groups in the dining area.
  2. Maintain cleanliness of guest areas.
  3. Operate the point of sale system accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and cash-out forms responsibly.
  4. Provide table service, function service, hosting, food running, bartending, etc.
  5. Maintain a calm demeanor during busy periods or unusual events.
  6. Provide exceptional service at all times.
  7. Stock and maintain product levels.
  8. Ensure cash and float security during operations.
  9. Attend and serve during buffet times, including bussing tables, resetting tables, and assisting in restocking the buffet line.
  10. Communicate with coworkers and management promptly.
  11. Uphold high environmental stewardship standards.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

What skills and experience do you need?:

  • Excitement about living and working in a remote yet social environment.
  • Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Basic knowledge of the distilling process for spirits (vodka, rum, gin, whiskey, etc.).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Proper grooming and professional appearance.
  • At least 1+ year of bar experience and 6+ months in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach.
  • Ability to lift at least 15 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Flexible schedule including morning and evening shifts.
  • Must meet grooming and appearance standards.
