Job summary

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a bartender for a seasonal role in Jasper, Alberta. The position involves delivering courteous, wine- and cocktail-oriented service, guiding guests through the drinks menu, and maintaining a clean, safe bar area.

A Proserve qualification and at least 1 year of bar experience are preferred. Starting Spring/Summer 2026, the job offers full-time seasonal employment with staff accommodation, subject to availability.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on the distilling process of each main spirit group (vodka, rum, gin, whiskeys).
• Thrives in a fast paced, high energy work environment.
• At least 1+ year bar experience with a minimum of 6 months working in a busy restaurant environment.
• Guest service oriented.
• A positive, 'go getter' attitude.
• Proserve qualifications (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous service to guests and guide customers accordingly about the surroundings/menu.
• Ensure that all areas are clean and orderly; keep stockrooms and storage neat and organized.
• Certify and confirm that SOPs are followed and completed.
• Ensure proper cash and float security during operating hours.
