Job description

Bartender at Bar Olo

Location: 2423 Marine Drive, West Vancouver

At Bar Olo we are a family. We are looking for a personable individual who thrives working in a close-knit team. Our seasonal menus, alongside our curated wine and cocktail program, offer a casual Italian dining experience for our guests out on our sun-drenched patio or in the dining room. We are hiring for full-time/part-time positions.

You will be responsible for:
  1. Serving the patrons at the counter while also producing all drinks for the restaurant.
  2. Greeting and interacting with all guests and explaining all features, and food/drink items on the menu.
  3. Maintaining and growing relationships with regular and new guests.
  4. Efficiently preparing drinks to Bar Olo standards.
  5. Utilizing POS systems (Auphan) and Moneris terminals.
  6. Taking tables and assisting servers as needed.
  7. Daily bar prep for garnishes and batched cocktails.
You will need:
  1. Serving it Right certified and understanding of responsible alcohol service.
  2. Min 1 year of bartending experience.
  3. Knowledge of liquor, wine, beer, service standards, and etiquette.
