POSITION SUMMARY

Lulu Bar Toronto is looking for an experienced bartender to join their team on a full-time contract. Bartenders are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner. Responsibilities include following all laws regarding liquor service, creating unique cocktails from scratch, stocking and sanitizing the bar, and preparing syrups and garnishes. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create, educate, mix, pour, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Follow drink recipes and standards consistently
• Provide high-quality customer service with professionalism
• Build and maintain regular clientele
• Adapt to different customer personalities to ensure service quality
• Ensure correct charging for all services and orders
• Maintain effective cost and portion controls
• Keep all surfaces and equipment clean and in good condition
• Ensure drink times align with restaurant guidelines
• Assist with product ordering and ensure freshness
• Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations
• Work overtime when needed and support team workload
• Perform any other required tasks

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Passion for craft cocktails (asset)
• 1-2 years bartending experience
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Basic knowledge of dining service procedures
• Math skills, ability to handle money, operate POS
• Pro Serve Certification (can be obtained within 30 days)
• Professionalism and composure in stressful situations
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays up to 25 pounds
• Must be over 19 years old
