Job summary

A leading sports and entertainment company in Toronto is seeking a Bartender to provide excellent food and beverage service. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment and hold a Smart Serve certification. Qualifications

Job Description

As a valued member of the RS team, you will deliver excellent food and beverage service to our guests, embodying our Vision and Values.

  1. Provide responsible and friendly beverage service to guests.
  2. Ensure responsible alcohol service following Smart Serve principles.
  3. Follow all AGCO and MLSE policies and regulations.
  4. Respond to guest inquiries in a friendly and informed manner.
  5. Monitor inventory and prepare the bar for service.
  6. Act as an ambassador for RS, MLSE, and our community.
  7. Perform administrative or service tasks as needed.
  8. Adhere to MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  9. Comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Qualifications

We recognize you may not meet all qualifications but encourage you to share relevant experience in your application.

  • Bartender Certificate from a reputable school with practical training (asset, not required).
  • 3+ years’ experience bartending in a high-volume, fast-paced environment serving cocktails, wine, and beer.
  • Smart Serve certification is required.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable refusing service when necessary.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of spirits, wine, and bar equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to calculate totals manually.
