The Position

As a Bartender, if you have proven experience in bartending and beverage service, enjoy working as part of a team, and thrive in dynamic customer service environments, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders, mix and serve drinks to customers;
• Notify supervisors of low inventory and recommend new stock;
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately;
• Operate the cash register and perform proper close-out procedures;
• Maintain a professional appearance according to grooming policies;
• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and a positive attitude;
• Collaborate with team members and promote good employee relations;
• Address and report guest or crew complaints to management;
• Develop knowledge of beverage and food menus;
• Take food orders and serve in bars/lounges where food is available;
• Keep the bar area clean and wash glassware and utensils as needed;
• Comply with Liquor License Act and Casino Rama policies;
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or serving experience in a fast-paced environment;
• Extensive cocktail mixing skills and knowledge of recipes;
• Reliable and dependable work ethic;
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask;
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods (8-hour shifts);
• Physical ability to handle service tasks;
• Proficiency with POS systems and billing;
• Excellent English communication skills; ability to read and write in English;
• French language skills are an asset;
• Smart Serve certification or ability to obtain it;
• WHMIS training certification or ability to acquire it;
• Ability to obtain and maintain AGCO licensing.
