Position Summary:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure that each guest enjoys a memorable experience at the Sandbar Lounge. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: 8 hour shifts; Monday – Friday, weekends as needed; Day, evening, morning shifts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are well-stocked.
• Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations while serving drinks and handling food products.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and coordination during busy periods.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, processing payments in a timely manner.
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay updated on menu offerings and service standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and menu offerings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid Smart Serve certification is required.
• Ability to handle moderate physical exertion; standing, walking, pushing, pulling, shoveling, and lifting items up to 30 kg.
