Bridgehead is hiring a Barista for Iris Location at 2745 Iris St, Ottawa, ON. Starting pay is $17.60 per hour plus tips. You will provide hospitality, craft high-quality coffee and foods, maintain a clean shop, and share Bridgehead’s story with customers.

Candidates should have customer service experience, a teamwork mindset, and a love of coffee. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available in a locally driven, inclusive environment.

Requirements:

• Experience in Customer Service is considered an asset
• Established professional, empathetic, and engaged customer service model
• Team player
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks
• Verified record of punctuality/attendance and time management

Physical Requirements:

• Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, twist and lift up to 30 kg, and to work at counter height for up to an 8-hour shift
• Constant computer, POS, and bar equipment use at counter height
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and/or rotation of the wrist and spine
• Efficient oral communication, receiving, interpreting, and providing detailed information to customers and employees
• Clarity of vision at near and/or far distance
• Occasionally be able to accurately distinguish and describe flavors and odours.
