Working Title: Barista, FT & PT
Employment Status: Full-Time and Part-Time
Starting Hourly Rate: $16.50 per hour
Address: 11205 110ST Grande Prairie, AB T8V4B1
New Hire Schedule: Barista/Cashier, open 7 days a week, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. Weekend shifts available.

Job Summary

How you will make an impact: You will prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items to customers.

As a Barista, you will:

• Greet customers and determine their coffee preferences and needs
• Educate customers about the coffee menu and answer questions
• Prepare coffee drinks following recipes and techniques for espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.
• Promote and explain coffee beans and brewing equipment to customers
• Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, pastries, and cookies
• Ensure equipment operates smoothly through proper maintenance and troubleshooting
• Follow safety and sanitation standards to maintain a healthy work environment
• Enhance store appearance and process efficiency through continuous improvement

About you:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience as a Barista is an asset
• Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude
• Physical ability to perform duties
