Job description

Be Fresh Local Market is looking for multiple permanent, part-time and full-time Barista / Customer Service Representatives to join our charming hybrid cafe / market team (1900 West 1st Avenue)! There are opportunities to work out of two locations: our main cafe in West 1st Avenue and a second cafe / market in Mount Pleasant - Organic Acres (3603 Main St). Hours and shifts are not yet defined but may include weekends. We are growing and offer opportunities for advancement within our company, as we love to promote from within.

Our cafes / markets are one-stop-shops for coffee, produce, food, snacks, gifts, and goods.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks.
• Manage daily café operations.
• Create attractive merchandise displays for produce and other products.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them to enhance their experience.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and foster positive relationships.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and market areas.
• Stock shelves and unpack grocery and produce deliveries.
• Assist with light food preparation if needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Experience as a Barista.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Passion for local, organic, and sustainable food products.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Enjoyment of food service and retail environments.
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.
• Interest in working for a dynamic, fast-paced company.
