Qualifications

• Barista experience: 1 year.
• Hospitality: 1 year.
• Specialty coffee: 1 year.
• Comfortable with POS, scheduling and purchasing software.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to train or mentor others is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and foster a warm, inclusive environment.
• Prepare coffee beverages following recipes with accurate dial-ins.
• Support cafe operations including food, pastry, and merchandising.
• Represent Dark Horse within Toronto's specialty coffee community.
• Follow health and safety policies and assist with cash handling.
• Assist with ordering, inventory, and basic queue management as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; assist with store closing procedures.
