Provisions in Whistler is seeking a friendly barista to join a fast-paced cafe. You will prepare espresso beverages, maintain shot quality with latte art, and deliver excellent guest service in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

Provisions is an all-day neighbourhood cafe in the heart of the village offering a variety of take away items and dine-in service, featuring a full espresso bar, freshly baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, made-to-order sandwiches and salads, slow-roasted rotisserie chicken and a selection of seasonal sides.

Who you are:

Baristas are responsible for the preparation of coffee beverages for the entire restaurant. The ideal candidate must thrive in a high-volume environment, while working closely with their co-workers in a team-oriented atmosphere.

What you'll do:

• Possess a passion for coffee and ability to prepare classic espresso beverages (cappuccinos, macchiatos, cortados etc.), as well as a familiarity withcurrent trends in the specialty coffee and tea industry.
• Demonstrate an ability to dial in espresso and pull great shots consistently with the ability to create latte art
• Work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Interact and communicate with all colleagues and guests with genuine hospitality
• Counter service and cashier responsibilities as required
