Title: Barista

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: The Safe Cafe

Employment: Full Time, 20 hrs/wk

Compensation: $17.50 - $19.50 / hour

Hours: Between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. 3-month probation and review.

Start Date: Immediate

● Crafting espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages

● Taking and processing orders with accuracy and efficiency

● Learning the art of great coffee—and how to work under pressure with style

What You Bring

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills

● Able to follow detailed instructions and standard drink recipes

● Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs

● Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

● No formal education required

Additional Requirements

● Food Safe Level 1 (or willingness to obtain) preferred

● Barista or customer service experience is an asset but not required—training provided!
