Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
• Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully, communicating clearly, and ensuring client satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace following health and safety regulations to guarantee a safe environment for clients and staff
• Assist clients with product recommendations and upselling retail items to enhance their experience and meet sales goals
• Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently
• Stay current on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education
• Foster a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals

Experience

• Previous experience as a barber or stylist in a professional salon or barbershop setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is highly valued
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Knowledge of hair styling techniques, coloring processes, and sanitation protocols
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships
• Experience handling front desk operations such as appointment scheduling, cash handling, and client check-in/out processes is a plus
• A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client needs and preferences

Pay: $15.00-$39.83 per hour. Expected hours: 40.0 per week.
