Tommy Gun's Abbotsford is seeking a Barber Manager to lead a team of skilled barbers and uphold the Tommy Gun’s experience. You will mentor staff, drive service quality, manage client consultations, and ensure a premium guest journey in a full-time Abbotsford location.

As Barber Manager, you’ll set standards for the team, optimize schedules, and foster a positive, professional work environment with opportunities for growth within a global brand.

Qualifications

• Proficient in modern haircutting styles, fades and shaving services.
• Ability to upsell retail and services.
• Capable of training and coaching barbers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess preferences through consultations.
• Provide expert recommendations based on face shapes and tastes.
• Demonstrate high-quality technical skills including fades and sculpting.

The Barber Manager will always positively represent the brand and uphold the highest levels of professionalism and customer service. You will also support the team guidelines and requests from Shop Leadership.

As a Tommy Gun’s Barber Manager, it is important that a positive and approachable demeanour is shown at all times, along with a versatile skill set and ability to achieve shop goals and targets. You will be required to motivate and encourage all barbers to help improve their skills and ensure they always deliver the Tommy Gun’s experience. As Barber Manager, you set the standard for all the Barbers in your team.

Required Qualificatins and Skills Core Skills

• Demonstrates a high level across all haircut styles, fades and on trend styling as well as all shave services
• An extensive knowledge in upselling techniques/retail offering
• Ability to develop close working relationships with the National Education Team and Barbers
• Understanding of all industry trends
• Confident in one on one training
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills - can you go above and beyond for every guest, every time
• Master excellent written and verbal communication skills—be the voice that answers emails and phone calls, manages service queues, and supports your team
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, showcasing exceptional time-management and multitasking abilities
• Bring familiarity with visual merchandising and product inventory (an asset!)
• Bonus points for experience in a salon, barbershop, or spa
