Experience: Will train

Tasks

1. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
2. Shampoo customers' hair
3. Shave and trim beards and mustaches
4. Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages
5. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
6. Suggest hairstyles compatible with client's physical features and preferences

Support for newcomers and refugees

• Assist newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
• Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
• Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
• Provide cultural competency and awareness training to all employees to foster an inclusive environment for Indigenous workers
