Bartender

The hotel is currently recruiting for a Bartender. This position is responsible for preparing and serving drinks to our guests and customers. They should be able to mix and match ingredients to create both classic and innovative drinks, tailored to customers’ needs and expectations. The main goal is to interact with hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience!

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly manner, take orders, and serve drinks and snacks.
• Assist in planning and presenting the bar menu.
• Check IDs to verify age for alcohol and tobacco purchases.
• Arrange the bar area attractively.
• Assess customer needs and make recommendations.
• Upsell and suggest additional drinks to increase sales.
• Maintain liquor inventory and monitor consumption.
• Collect payment and balance receipts.
• Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Food Handling Certification is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
