The Strathcona Hotel and Entertainment Center is looking for a dynamic, hands-on, and experienced individual to join our existing team of managers.

As a manager, you will have the confidence to oversee the operation of several busy outlets, possess exceptional interpersonal skills, and be able to juggle many projects while making sound business decisions. You are a natural leader who loves working as a team. Your staff's success is your success. You are passionate about the industry and have a genuine interest in creating events/activities to help build the business.

This is a daytime position of 30 to 40 hours per week. Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities :
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing warm, friendly service
  • Ensure the restaurant and pubs are running smoothly
  • Support employees in all areas wherever help is needed
  • Deal with guest complaints
  • Follow Serving it Right
  • Ensure all liquor licensing rules are being adhered to
  • Follow Health and Safety Standards
  • Support staff through training and progressive discipline
